Aims & Objectives of O.M.O.

1. To address issues which are specific to Older Men

2. To provide a forum for Older Men to voice their concerns and opinions

3. To establish groups at Local, Regional and National level

4. To establish National and International Networking

5. To provide Social Gain to Older Men

6. To raise awareness of issues related to retirement

The organisation aims to support Older Men who may be isolated and to highlight issues, which are specific to Older Men. Groups have already been set up in Ireland in Cavan/Monaghan, Cork, Tipperary and Tyrone.

OMO Ireland is in the process of setting up groups in other parts of Ireland and are forging links with a Network of European Groups.
